The application has been renamed to twistism. Its a better name! Also you’ll notice some interface changes, different colours, more room between buttons, and the option to leave tiles in place after picking them (as opposed to them shuffling to the left).
Also there is the option to have games without lots of infrequently used words and acronyms. Its easier this way, but you won’t learn as much (it limits the number of possible puzzles).
Please let me know if you have any more requests.

Txtwist is now the number one application, in The Philippines. Thanks to everyone who’s bought it there.
I’ve seen some reviews recently on the American ITMS, some of which I agree with and some of which I don’t - but its nice to get any feedback. The reason txtwist doesn’t have lots of swishing and sparkles, is to keep the interface simple and quick to use. If the words flew through the air trailing pixie dust everytime you got a word right, it would quickly become old.
There are lots of archaic words, but its the English language, and they’re still valid words. I am considering adding a mode that only includes popular words for people who’d prefer that though. If this is something you’d like to see, please leave a comment or email me!
